Doing Whatever It Takes

Helping vulnerable children and their families develop skills to lead successful lives.

Saving Lives, Changing Lives, Building Hope for children and Families.

Miss Ettie Lee, a retired Los Angeles high school teacher, founded Ettie Lee in 1950 when she opened the first group home in America that used a married couple as home parents.  Since then, Ettie Lee Youth and Family Services has expanded in response to the increasingly complex needs of children in our care.

BJJ Takedowns and Throws

BJJ Takedowns and Throws (If video doesn’t open up try the link at the bottom)

Here’s a little video I put together to help us breakdown, visualize and be familiar with BJJ Takedowns and Throws.

I understand they originate from Judo and should be respected as an art but we’re practitioners of BJJ so please don’t take offense.

Ok team watch it, visualize it and be familiar with it.

Now go train ninjas.
